Sanitation Worker

About the Role
Colony Display is seeking a dependable Sanitation Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy manufacturing environment. This position plays an important role in supporting daily operations by ensuring workspaces remain sanitary, organized, and ready for production.
From maintaining common areas to supporting deep-cleaning projects, you’ll help protect employees, promote workplace safety, and contribute to the efficient operation of our facilities every day.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of assigned areas, including production floors, restrooms, break rooms, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and compactors.
- Collect, sort, and properly dispose of waste and recyclable materials according to company and environmental guidelines.
- Restock soap, paper towels, sanitizing products, and other facility supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when cleaning supplies need replenishment.
- Follow all safety procedures, sanitation protocols, and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Assist with deep-cleaning projects, seasonal facility maintenance, and emergency cleanup efforts.
- Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, or workplace safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous janitorial or sanitation experience is required.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
